RM Steck Photography bio picture

Welcome to our Blog!

Welcome to RMsteck Photography! We are located in Klahanie on the beautiful Issaquah Plateau in the foothills of the cascades.  We specialize in Senior and Newborn Portraiture both in studio and on location at the Historic Pickering Barn in Issaquah.

We schedule Saturday sessions at the Pickering Barn from April through Mid-October.  The amazing grounds and gardens provide a beautiful natural backdrop for modern family and senior portraiture.

Our premier "Portraits at the Shore" sessions are scheduled during the Summer at the beautiful Washington costal town of Seabrook.  If you are looking for a unique and exclusive portrait experience for your family where we can combine a Studio and Beach session contact us soon to reserve your personalized session.

Please feel free to email us at Ruth@BabyOfMinePhotography.com with any questions you may have regarding setting up a session.

My last Studio session before the holidays

This was my last session of the year and what a sweetheart she was.  She loved the dancing teddy bears and she was so full of personality.  We were able to capture many wonderful images.  It has been so much fun to watch her grow this year.

Six Month Old in Studio

It is amazing how fast they grow!  This is sweet “M’s” third session this year and I can’t wait to see her again for her first birthday shoot.  Her sister was such a helper during our session and got a kick out of the dancing bear on my head.  Thankfully there were no cameras pointed at me at the time.

A Beautiful little one in Studio

I had such a wonderful time with this sweet little one in studio.  She was so sweet and awake, not wanting to miss a thing.  She loved to sit up and was so excited by her sweet toes.  Thanks so much for sharing her Tiffany!

A Beautiful Saturday at the Pickering Barn

It was our last Saturday at the Pickering Barn this year.  The weather cooperated and the gardens were in full Fall bloom.  Samantha had so much fun running through the gardens and dancing in the fields with the teddy bears.   It’s amazing to see how much she has grown.

Here are just a few of my favorites…

He loves his big sisters skateboard and anything to do with Tony Hawk so we combined the two for a quick mini session.
